European Commission – Innovation Radar Summit 2023

It is with great excitement that we announce the much-anticipated 9th edition of the Innovation Radar Prize. Brace yourself for an unprecedented twist this year, as we introduce the Innovation Radar Summit – an extraordinary in-person event that merges captivating live pitches from the finest EU-funded startups with riveting panels hosted by leading experts in the EU startup ecosystem.

Innovation Radar, a pioneering initiative of the European Commission, seeks high-potential innovations and innovators within EU-funded research and innovation projects. Since 2015, we have celebrated the best EU-funded innovators through the annual Innovation Radar Award, gaining significant exposure to the influential EU investment community.

The IR Summit, co-organized by the European Commission and Dealflow.eu, in partnership with Eura AG, Dealroom.co, the European Startup Nations Alliance (ESNA), Startup Lisbon and Microsoft.

EU-funded innovations are invited to apply to the IR Summit. Applications are open until August 31, 2023, after which 36 startups will be shortlisted in three categories: women-led innovation, environment and energy innovation, and hardware-focused innovation.

OBJECTIVE:

To give visibility to those innovators who are willing to embark on the path to commercialization.
