Design Scapes Forum | Design & Public Policy
A Two Way Street
Comienzo: el martes, 10 de marzo de 2020 a las 08:45
Finaliza: el miércoles, 11 de marzo de 2020 a las 13:30
DESIGNSCAPES is a European H2020 project with an overarching aim of exploiting potential of urban environments in highest possible number of European cities to encourage the uptake and further enhancement and up scaling of design-enabled innovation by existing enterprises, start-up companies, public authorities and agencies, and other urban stakeholders.
This forum aims to explore a two-way street approach for design policy, advocating for favorable public policy to foster urban design-enabled innovation on the one hand, and on the other hand, using good design to empower public policymaking.
By doing so, the forum creates a public arena to debate, discuss and explain why and how innovators in the public and private sectors in Europe can benefit from integrating design with the urban dimension and further to formulate proposals for vertical policy measures – to be adopted at European Union (EU), Member State (MS) and Regional levels – that can boost the design capacity and capability of European innovation actors and systems.
As one of the meaningful milestones, a Green Paper on Design-enabled Innovation in Urban Environment will be presented at the forum to discuss and consolidate in order to shape recommended policy actions for European cities.
More than 50 experts will lead the event towards design and public policy.
