Resist Innovation Open Calls

The European project RESIST II has launched two new calls for proposals aimed at fostering innovation in SMEs in the mobility, transport, and automotive sectors.
These grants, focused on product and process innovation, seek to boost the green and digital transition of companies by promoting initiatives geared towards decarbonization, resource efficiency, and strengthening industrial resilience.
Both calls have a total budget of approximately €1.6 million and set a deadline of July 13, 2026, for submitting applications.
OBJECTIVE
To support SMEs in developing innovative projects that improve their competitiveness, contributing to emissions reduction, efficient resource use, and the integration of digital solutions. Furthermore, the calls aim to strengthen business resilience and accelerate the green and digital transition of the sector.
To this end, two lines of action are funded:
- Product Innovation: support for SMEs that develop innovative products and services for the MTA ecosystem.
- Process Innovation: support for SMEs to improve industrial processes, operational efficiency, and production transformation.
TARGET AUDIENCE
These initiatives are aimed at SMEs, startups, and mid-caps operating in the mobility, transport, and automotive sectors. Participating companies must be established in the European Union or associated countries and have the capacity to develop innovative projects aligned with the green and digital transition.
PRIORITY AREAS
Projects must align with a series of priority areas linked to the green and digital transition of the sector, including:
- Industrial decarbonization and net-zero technologies
- Circular economy and efficient use of resources
- Digital mobility and smart systems
- Resilient value chains
AMOUNT
SMEs can access funding of:
- Up to €20,000 for individual projects.
- Up to €30,000 per company for consortium initiatives.
- Coverage of up to 90% of eligible costs.
In addition to financial support, participating SMEs will benefit from training activities, technological services, advisory and mentoring opportunities, as well as access to networks and international collaboration opportunities throughout Europe.
