Grants to companies participating in European consortia

Horizon IP Scan is a free, tailor-made intellectual property (IP) support service specifically designed to help European start-ups and other small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) involved in funded collaborative research projects to valorize IP in R&D collaborations.

Like any other asset, IP must be managed and used strategically and maximize the impact of project results. Therefore, IP management plays an essential role in the entire life cycle of EU-funded research and innovation projects.

OBJECTIVE:

To help SMEs address central IP issues that may arise in the various phases of a collaborative research project.

AIMED AT:

This is a service specifically aimed at SMEs cooperating in Horizon Europe projects with one or more entities, including other SMEs.

PHASES:

1. a preparation phase that includes a pre-interview,
2. the main interview, which is conducted in a face-to-face or online meeting;
3. and the delivery of a report and recommendations.
